Our planters are all inspected prior to shipping. Please remove all shrink-wrap, bubble wrap and cardboard from planters as soon as you receive them. These packaging materials can affect the finish of the planter if kept on.
Keep planters in a dry, covered area if storing planters while empty.
Although technically a handcrafted product, concrete acts and looks very much like a natural stone. Similar to stone, as concrete ages, it will naturally deepen and intensify in color. Planters can sustain nicks and scratches; just like your automobile, so be sure to handle carefully and avoid using materials which may scratch your planters such as steel wool or other abrasive sponges. Stains can be removed by simply washing your item with warm soapy water.
It is crucial to ensure that water is fully vacating the planter. If your concrete planter constantly remains full of water, it can degrade the natural components and fibers of the planter and compromise the framework of the planter. We recommend keeping your pot elevated off the surface it is sitting on to allow for optimal drainage. Pot feet are the perfect solution to stylishly raise garden pots & containers off the ground to prevent staining and provide improved airflow. A must-have for all outdoor planters.
